Bright Horizons Australia childcare Ayr

The Burdekin is also known as the “Sugar Cane Capital of Australia” nestled in the delta of the Burdekin River, with its two popular townships of Ayr and Home Hill – linked by the iconically historic Burdekin Bridge – the Burdekin offers fantastic fishing, magnificent wetlands, beautiful birdlife and miles of unspoilt beaches to explore. The region is also the gateway to one of the world’s best dive sites in the SS Yongala shipwreck.

The Bright Horizons Ayr service is a hidden away out from the public view. The service is located in the quiet street of Young street which is out of the way of the day to day traffic and chaos. When you centre the Ayr service you will see an open plan outdoor environment surrounded by luscious gardens that are maintained by the children within the service as part of our sustainability program that operates weekly. As you make your way into our homely feeling service you will witness five operating rooms ageing from six weeks to five years old. We are one of only three services within the Burdekin region that offer before school care, after school care and vacation care for school aged children.

Hi, I am Jessica Vener your service manager for Ayr. I started my career in the early childhood industry in 2009 at the bright young age of 17 and I have never looked back. I am a mother of two little boys which you will see attending the service. On the weekends you will find me attending my sons sporting event and volunteering my spare time to the sporting clubs.

I believe it takes multiple people to raise a child. I want to be a part of your children’s life and make a positive influence on the younger generations.
