Bright Horizons Elsternwick is proudly located on Boon Wurrung Land in Elsternwick conveniently close to public transport. We are a small warm and welcoming service educating children from 6 weeks to 5 years across 5 thoughtfully designed rooms.

At Bright Horizons Elsternwick, we believe our service is more than a place for children to learn—it is a community where children, families and educators can feel like part of one big family. Our long standing, nurturing and qualified educators take the time to get to know each child and build genuine, trusting relationships with their families.

Our play-based learning program is guided by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and thoughtfully developed around each child’s interests, strengths, culture and individual learning needs. Through engaging experiences, children are supported to build confidence, develop meaningful relationships and explore the world around them.

Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, together with nutritious meals prepared fresh each day, create a calm and connected setting where children can explore, imagine and thrive.

Families at our service also benefit from our wellness program, out and about program and small room sizes. Through our many excursions and incursions we support children to build meaningful connections with their wider community.

Whether you’re seeking nurturing care for your baby, a supportive toddler program or an integrated Kinder program with long day care, our team is here to guide and support your family at every stage.

Service Manager

My name is Katrina and I have been working with Bright Horizons Australia Childcare for over 15 years, enjoying various roles which have provided me with a great understanding, knowledge and experience. I have a daughter myself and becoming a mother has been the most amazing and rewarding experience. Since having my own daughter it has reinforced my understanding of a parent’s expectation of an early learning centre.

I’m passionate about connecting and building strong relationships with children and their families, achieving the best outcomes for all and building a strong community.

Child safety and empowerment for me is my number one priority. It is important that the children here at the service have a voice and are able to make decisions that affect them.

I always make sure that the operation of the service is running professionally, effective and to the benefit of the children and their families. I am also fortunate to lead a team of experienced, passionate and highly qualified early childhood educators who strive to have strong and genuine partnerships with our families and local community.

At Bright Horizons Elsternwick we strive to provide a flexible and engaging high quality program inclusive to all and have an extensive orientation process to ensure that you are all part of your child’s journey from the very beginning.
