Bright Horizons Tintenbar is situated on Bundjalung country in the Beautiful Lennox Head Hinterland,10 minutes from the pristine beaches of the Far North Coast.
Bright Horizons Tintenbar provides Education and Care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old which are configured across 3 well-resourced playrooms.
The service boasts a gymnasium sized area which unfolds into the outdoor learning environment. The gymnasium is a perfect place for the children to engage in extracurricular activities, kinship relationships and has plenty of space for everyone to play on rainy days.
Our outdoor playground is surrounded by a majestic pine forest which boasts an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty. The playground incorporates vegetable gardens, yarning circle, a traditional Gunya, sandpit and climbing equipment to challenge the children’s gross motor development.
Our educators respectfully acknowledge that the parents are their child’s first teacher and are passionate about providing children and families with a welcoming safe and secure learning environment and build strong, trusting reciprocal relationships with our families and children. Our programs are designed to suit the individual needs of every child within our care and follow the principles of the EYLF and aboriginal 8 ways of learning.
Our Educators acknowledge the first nations people and aim to deliver a program that is embedded with practices and experiences that respectfully educate the children in a culturally appropriate way. We pay our respect to country each morning at yarning circle.
We are mindful about the world we live in and embed sustainable practices into our program, which include composting, worm farming, native bees and caring for country through our gardening program and also being mindful of our water usage.
Bright Horizons Tintenbar makes connections with community through our out and about program where educators thoughtfully plan excursions within our local area.
We can’t wait to be a part of your child’s learning Journey.
