Bright Horizons Hatton Vale is located 35km west of Ipswich. We are a service licensed for 75 children a day. This licensing ensures each child has a safe space with key educator relationships. We offer 5 rooms with spacious outdoor environments. We have an onsite chef who prepares fresh, daily meals. We offer all meals, nappies, sunscreen, wipes. We offer flexible booking options, such as a 6 hour, 9 hour, 10 hour and 12 hour sessions. The service is close to the main highway and local schools. Inside all of our 5 rooms, Nursery to Kindergarten – are all set up in line with the Early Years Framework to ensure children have the opportunity to grow and develop through play based learning. Outside we provide age appropriate play spaces and equipment to enhance the child’s awareness of their surroundings and environment. Our service is focused on working with the wider community to enrich children’s learning experiences.

Service Manager

Welcome friends and whanau, to Bright Horizons Hatton Vale. My name is Jules and I am the servce manager here at our beautiful Hatton Vale centre. I am so lucky to be surrounded by an amazing team that is truly passionate about our children.

I have worked in the Early Childhood sector across 30 years, in both New Zealand and Australia. I have worked in a variety of roles including advocacy, educational pedagogy and leadership. I strongly believe in a strengths focused approach and strive to empower and grow our educators so they can be there best each and every day for our children.

I am a lover of nature play and child led curriculums, that support all children to learn and grow in their own time. I have a deep interest and experience in inclusive practices and strive to ensure all children and families are supported and valued.

I have lived in the local community for over 20 years with my husband, dogs, chickens and horses. I have a trained therapy dog Nicholas, who likes to read stories with children and support social and emotional wellbeing. He also is a trained Type 1 dog. I have 2 adult children who are out in the world living their best lifes.  

Children deserve our very best and I believe through thoughtful, respectful and inclusive practice we can create magical childhoods for all children.
